Product Code : EL-COA-1136
Jlab Export is a leading Study Characteristics of Operational Amplifier Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Study Characteristics of Operational Amplifier (code EL-COA-1136) is a trainer for measuring the basic characteristics of the IC 741 op amp — input offset current, offset voltage, slew rate, bandwidth and null balancing — in electronics and physics labs. The IC 741 is connected inside, with its connections, resistances and capacitors brought out to 4 mm sockets, and a ±15 V DC regulated supply and two round meters are fitted. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Op Amp Characteristics Trainer Used For?
A real op amp differs from the ideal one in textbooks, and this trainer lets students measure by how much. It is used in undergraduate electronics and physics practicals, engineering and polytechnic labs and ITI/TVET courses. The input offset voltage is the small DC voltage that must be applied between the inputs to bring the output to zero; it comes from slight mismatches in the input stage. The input offset current is the difference between the bias currents flowing into the two inputs. Null balancing is the trimming of that offset to zero — the 741 provides offset-null terminals for an external adjustment.
The dynamic tests need signal instruments. For slew rate, a square wave is applied and the steepest slope of the output edge is read on a CRO, giving the maximum rate of change in volts per microsecond. For bandwidth, a sine wave is swept upward in frequency until the closed-loop gain falls by 3 dB; repeating this at a higher gain shows the gain–bandwidth trade-off. That is why the listing names a function generator and a CRO as optional items.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 trainers.
- Optional instruments — say whether you need the DMM, the audio frequency function generator TE-93 and the CRO TE-96, or already have suitable instruments.
- Syllabus needs — mention any further op amp parameters your course measures, so JLab can confirm what the trainer covers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which op amp characteristics can be measured?
Input offset current, offset voltage, slew rate, bandwidth and null balancing, all on the IC 741 fitted inside the trainer.
Which IC does the trainer use?
The IC 741 general-purpose op amp. It is connected inside the instrument, and its connections are brought out to 4 mm sockets for wiring the test circuits.
Are a function generator and CRO needed?
For the slew rate and bandwidth tests, yes. The listing names a DMM, an audio frequency function generator TE-93 and a CRO TE-96 as optional items, quoted separately. The listing does not give the ranges of the two round meters, so a DMM is useful for the small offset readings.
What power supply does it have?
A ±15 V DC regulated supply, the usual dual supply for operating a 741.
Is it different from the other op amp trainers in this range?
Yes. The other trainers use the op amp in application circuits such as amplifiers, comparators and integrators; this one measures the op amp’s own non-ideal parameters, so it is often taught before the application circuits.
What does JLab need for an export quotation?
The quantity, destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, packing or labelling instructions, and the tender reference where applicable.
Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics trainer and scientific instrument manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The op amp characteristics trainer is built at JLab’s own works, not resold from a trader, so engineering colleges, universities, dealers and importers buy direct from the factory, each unit is inspected visually before dispatch, and later orders are handled by the maker. The company is registered for GST under GSTIN 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and holds Legal Entity Identifier 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Cameroon in Central Africa, Iceland in Northern Europe, Tajikistan in Central Asia, Mongolia in East Asia and Papua New Guinea in Oceania. See the lab tenders page for tender enquiries.
