Influenza Virus Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-5222
Jlab Export is a leading Influenza Virus Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Influenza Virus Model (code EL-BE-5222) is a teaching model of the influenza (flu) virus, the enveloped RNA virus behind seasonal flu and flu pandemics. Biology teachers and microbiology lecturers use it to show the viral envelope, its surface spikes and the genetic material inside, and to explain why flu vaccines are updated. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Does an Influenza Virus Model Teach?
The flu virus is a roughly spherical particle wrapped in a lipid envelope. Two kinds of protein spike stand out from the surface: haemagglutinin, which attaches the virus to cells lining the airways, and neuraminidase, which frees newly made virus particles from the infected cell. Inside, the RNA genome is split into separate segments. Small changes in the spike proteins (antigenic drift), and occasional swapping of whole segments between strains (antigenic shift), are why new flu strains keep appearing and why vaccine composition is reviewed regularly.
Teachers use the model for the viruses section of class 11 biology, common infectious diseases in class 12, college microbiology and nursing courses, and public-health talks on how flu spreads through respiratory droplets.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the spikes on an influenza virus?
Haemagglutinin and neuraminidase. Haemagglutinin lets the virus attach to host cells; neuraminidase helps new virus particles escape. Flu subtypes are named after the forms of these two proteins.
Is Haemophilus influenzae the same as the flu virus?
No. Haemophilus influenzae is a bacterium that was once wrongly thought to cause flu; influenza itself is caused by the virus shown in this model.
Who makes this influenza model?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, at its own works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab trades as the brand of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of science teaching models and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The influenza model is built at JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader; schools, colleges, dealers and importers order it factory-direct and every piece is inspected visually before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example South Korea in East Asia, Tajikistan in Central Asia, Peru in South America, Tunisia in North Africa and the Maldives in South Asia.
