Innate Immunity Model (code EL-BE-6114) is a biology teaching model of innate immunity — the non-specific defences present from birth that act within minutes to hours, before the specific immune response develops. It fits the class 12 chapter on human health and disease and introductory immunology in colleges. The model is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Innate Immunity Model Used For?
It gives students a single visual for the four kinds of barrier described in the NCERT class 12 textbook. Physical barriers are the skin and the mucus lining the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital tracts; physiological barriers include stomach acid, saliva and tears; cellular barriers are the neutrophils, monocytes and natural killer cells of the blood and the macrophages in tissues; and cytokine barriers are the interferons released by virus-infected cells to protect their neighbours. College courses add inflammation, fever, complement proteins and pattern-recognition receptors such as Toll-like receptors, which detect molecules shared by many microbes. Teachers usually set innate immunity beside acquired immunity, which is specific to each pathogen and keeps a memory through B and T lymphocytes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between innate and acquired immunity?
Innate immunity is inborn, non-specific and fast; acquired immunity develops after exposure, targets one pathogen and remembers it. This model covers the innate side; JLab lists separate models on T cells, B cells and immune responses.
Which barriers does the model show?
The listing names the topic but not the individual parts, so ask JLab for a description and photo with your quotation before you order.
How many must I buy and when will they ship?
The minimum is 10 units, each sold and packed individually; dispatch normally takes 7–10 working days, including a visual inspection of each model. Export shipping time is extra and depends on the destination.
Who manufactures the Innate Immunity Model?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its Ambala works in Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of biology and other science teaching equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Producing the model in its own works, rather than reselling a trader’s stock, lets JLab supply schools, colleges, dealers and importers factory-direct and handle repeat orders itself. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Myanmar in Southeast Asia, Bolivia in South America, Mongolia in East Asia, Ethiopia in East Africa and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.
