Jlab Export is a leading Immunology Complement System Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Immunology Complement System Model (code EL-BE-6138) is a teaching model of the complement system — the set of blood proteins that, once triggered, coat microbes for phagocytes, call in inflammatory cells and punch holes in bacterial membranes. It is aimed at college and university immunology, microbiology and medical teaching. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Immunology Complement System Model Used For?
Complement proteins, made mostly in the liver, circulate in an inactive form until something sets off a cascade in which each activated protein switches on the next. Lecturers use the model to compare the three routes in: the classical pathway, started by antibodies bound to antigen; the lectin pathway, started when mannose-binding lectin attaches to sugars on microbes; and the alternative pathway, which begins directly on microbial surfaces. All three converge on the central protein C3. Its large fragment, C3b, coats microbes so that phagocytes can engulf them; small fragments called anaphylatoxins attract phagocytes and promote inflammation; and the late components assemble a membrane attack complex that makes pores in some bacteria and bursts them. Regulatory proteins on the body’s own cells keep the attack away from them. The system belongs to innate immunity, yet its name records that it “complements” the killing of bacteria by antibodies.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the three complement pathways?
Classical, lectin and alternative. They differ in what starts them but all lead to activation of C3 and the same end effects.
Which proteins and steps does the model label?
The listing does not give them. Ask JLab for a description and photo with your quotation before ordering.
Who manufactures the model?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd), at its own works in Ambala, Haryana.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of laboratory instruments and science teaching models in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model is made in JLab’s own works rather than supplied through a trader, so universities, medical colleges, dealers and importers buy direct from the maker, which also handles any repeat order. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — Mongolia in East Asia, Iceland in Northern Europe, Uzbekistan in Central Asia, Libya in North Africa and Australia in Oceania are examples.
