Jlab Export is a leading Immune Regulation Autoimmunity Tolerance Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Immune Regulation Autoimmunity Tolerance Model (code EL-BE-6141) is a biology teaching model on how the immune system learns to leave the body’s own tissues alone, how it keeps its responses in check, and what happens when that self-tolerance breaks down. It is intended for college and university immunology and medical classes. JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — produces it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Immune Tolerance Model Used For?
It supports lectures on the two stages of self-tolerance. Central tolerance happens where lymphocytes mature: in the thymus, young T cells that bind strongly to self proteins are removed (negative selection), helped by the AIRE protein, which lets thymus cells display proteins normally found in other organs; in the bone marrow, self-reactive B cells are deleted or edit their receptors. Peripheral tolerance catches cells that escape — a T cell that meets antigen without co-stimulatory signals becomes unresponsive (anergy), and regulatory T cells damp down responses through contact and suppressive cytokines.
When these controls fail, the result is autoimmunity. Class 12 biology describes autoimmune disease as the body attacking its own cells and names rheumatoid arthritis as an example; university courses add conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. The model is for teaching only and has no diagnostic use.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between central and peripheral tolerance?
Central tolerance removes self-reactive lymphocytes while they develop in the thymus or bone marrow; peripheral tolerance silences or suppresses those that reach the rest of the body.
What does the model show, and how large is it?
Neither is recorded in the listing. Ask for a description and photo with the quotation.
Is it made by JLab?
Yes. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd makes it in its own Ambala works and quotes as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of biology lab equipment and teaching models, incorporated in 2017 and working from Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Each model is built in-house instead of being bought from a trader, which lets universities, medical colleges, dealers and importers order direct and return to the same manufacturer for repeat or bulk orders of biology models. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region; examples are Hungary in Eastern Europe, Libya in North Africa, Tonga in Oceania, Cambodia in Southeast Asia and South Korea in East Asia.
Linked Immunology Models
- Hypersensitivity Reaction Model — harmful over-reactions to outside antigens.
- HLA Disease Association and Transplantation Model — tissue-type molecules linked to autoimmune risk and graft rejection.
- Role of T Cell and B Cells Model — the lymphocytes that tolerance controls.
- Antigen Presenting Cells Model — the cells that supply co-stimulation.
