Telomerases Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-6106
Jlab Export is a leading Telomerases Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Telomerases Model (code EL-BE-6106) is a cell and molecular biology teaching model on telomerase, the enzyme that rebuilds the protective telomeres at the ends of chromosomes. It takes the class 12 lesson on DNA replication a step further and suits college courses on molecular biology, cell ageing and cancer biology. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Telomerases Model Used For?
Linear chromosomes end in telomeres — a short DNA sequence, TTAGGG in humans, repeated many times and capped with proteins so that the ends are not mistaken for broken DNA. Ordinary replication cannot copy the very end of a chromosome: once the last RNA primer on the lagging strand is removed, there is nothing for DNA polymerase to extend from, so the chromosome loses a little DNA every time the cell divides. This is known as the end-replication problem.
Telomerase solves it. The enzyme is a reverse transcriptase that carries its own RNA template; it adds new repeats to the protruding single-stranded end, and the partner strand is then filled in by the usual replication enzymes. Telomerase is active in germ cells, stem cells and most cancer cells, but it is low in most body cells, which therefore divide only a limited number of times. Elizabeth Blackburn and Carol Greider discovered the enzyme and shared a Nobel Prize with Jack Szostak for work on telomeres. A model helps students picture a process that happens at a scale far too small to see.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the model show?
The listing names only the subject; parts, labels, size and material are not given. Ask JLab for a description and photograph before you order.
Why do chromosomes shorten without telomerase?
Because DNA polymerase needs a primer to start from, the end of the lagging strand cannot be completed, so a little of the chromosome end is lost at each division.
What are the order terms?
The minimum order is 10 units, each sold individually and inspected visually; dispatch is usually within 7–10 working days, plus export transit time.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — is an Indian manufacturer of teaching models and laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model is produced in the company’s own works rather than traded, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy it from the maker and can reorder from the same source. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Samoa in Oceania, Gabon in Central Africa, Sudan in North Africa, Mali in West Africa and North Macedonia in Southern Europe.
