DNA Replication Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-6093
Jlab Export is a leading DNA Replication Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
DNA Replication Model (code EL-BE-6093) is a molecular biology teaching model that explains how a cell copies its DNA before it divides — the replication fork, the enzymes at work and the semiconservative result. It is aimed at the class 12 chapter on the molecular basis of inheritance and at college genetics and biochemistry classes. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the DNA Replication Model Used For?
Replication begins at an origin, where helicase unwinds the double helix and single-strand binding proteins hold the two strands apart, opening a Y-shaped replication fork. Each old strand then serves as a template. Primase lays down a short RNA primer, and DNA polymerase adds matching deoxyribonucleotides — supplied as triphosphates, which also provide the energy — while checking for mistakes as it goes. Because the polymerase can build in one direction only, leading-strand synthesis is continuous, while the lagging strand is made in short Okazaki fragments that DNA ligase later joins.
The outcome is semiconservative: each new double helix keeps one parental strand and one new strand, as Watson and Crick proposed and Meselson and Stahl later demonstrated in E. coli using a heavy isotope of nitrogen. In eukaryotic cells this happens during the S phase of the cell cycle. A model makes the opposite directions of the two strands easy to follow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which enzymes and steps does the model include?
The listing names the topic only, so the stages, enzymes and labels shown are not specified. JLab can send a description and photograph with the quotation.
Why is one strand copied in fragments?
DNA polymerase can extend a chain in only one direction, and the two template strands run in opposite directions, so one new strand is built continuously and the other piece by piece as Okazaki fragments.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab, or Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, is a manufacturer of biology models and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model is made at JLab’s own works and not bought in from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers are supplied factory-direct and repeat orders are handled by the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Hong Kong in East Asia, Brunei in Southeast Asia, Slovenia in Southern Europe, Lithuania in Northern Europe and Luxembourg in Western Europe.
