Jlab Export is a leading HLA Disease Association and Transplantation Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
HLA Disease Association and Transplantation Model (code EL-BE-6147) is an immunology teaching model about human leukocyte antigens (HLA) — the tissue-type molecules that decide whether a graft is accepted and that are linked with the risk of several diseases. It is aimed at college and medical teaching in immunology and genetics. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) manufactures it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the HLA Model Used For?
HLA is the human version of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), a cluster of genes on chromosome 6. Class I molecules (HLA-A, -B and -C) sit on almost every nucleated cell and show peptide fragments to cytotoxic T cells; class II molecules (HLA-DP, -DQ and -DR) are found on antigen-presenting cells and show peptides to helper T cells. The genes are extremely variable and are inherited as a block from each parent, so two siblings have a one-in-four chance of a full match.
The model supports two lessons. In transplantation, class 12 biology explains that tissue and blood-group matching are needed before a graft and that graft rejection is a cell-mediated response to “non-self” HLA. In disease association, students learn that some HLA types raise the risk of particular conditions — for example an HLA-B type with ankylosing spondylitis and HLA-DQ types with coeliac disease — while noting that an association means higher risk, not certainty. It is a teaching aid, not a tissue-typing tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between HLA class I and class II?
Class I is on nearly all nucleated cells and presents to cytotoxic T cells; class II is mainly on antigen-presenting cells and presents to helper T cells.

Who manufactures it?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, at its Ambala works in Haryana.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a biology lab equipment supplier and manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Its models are made at its own works rather than resold from a trader, so medical colleges, universities, dealers and importers order straight from the maker, which also handles repeat supplies. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — Mexico in North America, Gabon in Central Africa, Mongolia in East Asia, Papua New Guinea in Oceania and Uzbekistan in Central Asia, for example.
