Multistage Rocket

Product Code : EL-PC-2931
Jlab Export is a leading Multistage Rocket Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Multistage Rocket (code EL-PC-2931) is a printed physics wall chart on the multistage rocket, the launch vehicle built from stages that are dropped one after another as their propellant runs out, for lessons on Newton’s third law, momentum and space flight. The 58 x 90 cm chart is offset printed in full colour on 130 gsm coated art paper, laminated on both sides and fitted with plastic rollers. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, India) supplies it to schools, colleges and dealers.

What Is the Multistage Rocket Chart Used For?

A rocket moves by Newton’s third law: it throws hot exhaust gases backwards at high speed, and the gases push the rocket forwards with an equal and opposite force. Put another way, the momentum carried away by the exhaust is matched by the forward momentum the rocket gains. Because a rocket carries its own oxidiser as well as its fuel, it does not need air and can work in space. A single huge rocket would waste much of its thrust lifting empty tanks, so launch vehicles are built in stages; when a stage has burned its propellant it is separated and discarded, and the next stage, now pushing far less mass, carries the payload on towards orbital speed.

The rocket is a classic example for the third law of motion in class 9 science and for conservation of momentum and orbital and escape velocity in class 11 physics, and it is a natural starting point for lessons on satellites and space missions. The listing does not describe the panels, so ask for a preview image if you want to check the diagrams.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Number of charts — the minimum order is 10 units.
  • Demonstrations — Newton’s cradle and a turbojet engine cut model are separate catalogue items.
  • Companion charts — Force and Gravitation from this series, and Atmosphere and Space from the geography range.
  • Delivery — destination country, port or city and preferred delivery terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are rockets built in stages?
Dropping each stage once its propellant is used means the remaining engines no longer have to accelerate empty tanks and spent engines, so far more of the thrust goes into speeding up the payload.

Is this a model rocket?
No. It is a 58 x 90 cm printed wall chart from the Physics Charts series; it is not a working or flying model.

What does the chart show?
The listing names the topic but not the individual panels. Ask JLab for a preview image to check the diagrams and labels.

What are the size, weight and finish?
58 x 90 cm, 228 g, about 58 x 4 x 2 cm rolled. Full-colour CTP offset printing on 130 gsm coated art paper, 30 micron heat-sealable polyester lamination on both sides, and a markable, washable surface. English only.

What should an export quotation request include?
Quantity, destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer such as FOB or CIF, packing or labelling needs, and a tender reference where applicable.

Who supplies the Multistage Rocket chart?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd in Ambala, Haryana, India, supplies it and quotes directly.

Supplier

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab supplies this chart series in addition to the physics apparatus it makes, so mechanics demonstrations and the wall charts that explain them can be ordered at once. Charts are visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Rwanda in East Africa, Nigeria in West Africa, Luxembourg in Western Europe, Bolivia in South America and DR Congo in Central Africa. For tender supply, see the lab tenders page.
