Pascal's Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PLEA-13386
Jlab Export is a leading Pascal's Apparatus Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Pascal’s Apparatus (code EL-PLEA-13386) is a set of four glass vessels of different shapes, each held in a leak-proof metallic collar on a metal base, used to show that the pressure of a liquid depends on its depth and not on the shape of its container. It is a standard demonstration for lessons on fluid pressure and Pascal’s principle. JLab makes this hydrostatics set in Ambala, India.

What the Four Shapes Prove
Fill each vessel in turn to the same height. Some hold far more liquid than others, yet the pressure at the base comes out the same every time, a result often called the hydrostatic paradox. Raise the level in any one vessel and the pressure at the base rises with it. From there the lesson moves to Pascal’s principle: a change of pressure at any point in a confined, incompressible fluid is passed on equally to every part of it.
Handling the Glass Vessels
Check that each vessel sits squarely in its collar before pouring, so the seal holds. A few drops of colour in the water let students at the back of the room see the level. Hold the vessels by their metal collars rather than the glass, and empty and dry the set after the lesson so the collars stay clean.
