Transistor Tester Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-TAMI-1016
Jlab Export is a leading Transistor Tester Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Transistor Tester (code EL-TAMI-1016) is a mains-operated instrument for testing general-purpose, low-power PNP and NPN transistors. The transistor plugs into a socket on the tester and its current gain is shown on a moving-coil meter calibrated in gain (hFE), which makes it useful for checking and sorting transistors in electronics labs. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Transistor Tester Used For?
The hFE of a bipolar transistor is its DC current gain in the common-emitter connection — the collector current divided by the base current. A transistor tester sets up that condition and shows the gain directly on the meter, so a student can quickly tell whether a transistor is working and how much gain it has. In B.Sc. electronics, polytechnic, engineering and ITI electronics labs it is used to check transistors before they go into amplifier and switching circuits, to sort a batch by gain and to pick matched pairs for push-pull stages. Check the pin order (emitter, base and collector) of the transistor against the socket before testing.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Transistor types — the tester is listed for general-purpose, low-power PNP and NPN devices; ask JLab before ordering for power transistors.
- Mains supply — it works on 220 V, 50 Hz; state your local supply.
- Quantity and related kits — the minimum order is 10 units; add a transistor characteristics apparatus if students also plot curves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the tester measure?
The current gain (hFE) of PNP and NPN transistors, shown on a moving-coil meter calibrated in gain.
Can it test power transistors?
It is listed for general-purpose and low-power transistors. Ask JLab before using it for power devices.
How is it different from a transistor characteristics apparatus?
The tester gives a quick gain reading for one transistor at a time. A characteristics apparatus provides supplies and meters to plot full input and output curves for experiments.
Who manufactures this transistor tester?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, and quotes for it directly as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronic lab instruments manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The tester is built at JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so colleges, institutes, dealers and importers buy direct from the manufacturer. JLab is registered for GST under GSTIN 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and has the Legal Entity Identifier 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example the USA in North America, Hong Kong in East Asia, Mali in West Africa, Lesotho in Southern Africa and Morocco in North Africa.
