Adeno Virus Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-5224
Jlab Export is a leading Adeno Virus Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Adeno Virus Model (code EL-BE-5224) is a teaching model of an adenovirus, the standard example of a non-enveloped virus with an icosahedral (twenty-faced) protein coat. It is used in biology classes and in college microbiology and biotechnology courses to show capsid symmetry and to discuss a common cause of respiratory and eye infections. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Adenovirus Model Used For?
An adenovirus has no outer envelope. Its double-stranded DNA is packed inside a capsid shaped like an icosahedron, and from each corner a long fibre with a knob at the end projects outwards; these fibres let the virus attach to the cells it infects. Adenoviruses cause cold-like respiratory illness, conjunctivitis (pink eye) and stomach upsets, mostly in children, and modified adenoviruses are used as carriers (vectors) in gene-therapy research and in some vaccines.
A model makes the geometry clear in a way a printed diagram cannot. It suits the viruses topic in class 11 biology, the vectors section of class 12 biotechnology, and B.Sc. or M.Sc. microbiology and biotechnology lectures on virus structure.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — minimum 10 models.
- Information to confirm — size, material and the parts shown, which are not listed.
- Comparison models — add the helical virus or bacteriophage model to show all three capsid types.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the adenovirus used to teach icosahedral symmetry?
Its capsid is a clear, regular icosahedron with fibres at the corners, and because it has no envelope the shape of the protein coat is the shape of the whole virus.
Is an adenovirus a DNA or RNA virus?
A DNA virus. Its genome is double-stranded DNA, which is one reason it is studied alongside other DNA viruses and used as a gene-delivery vector.
Who makes the Adeno Virus Model?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
The JLab name belongs to Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of laboratory equipment and biology models in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. It holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 as a manufacturing enterprise and Importer-Exporter Code 3317504552. The adenovirus model is made in JLab’s own works, not bought in, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy factory-direct and each unit is visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Poland in Eastern Europe, Congo in Central Africa, Greece in Southern Europe, France in Western Europe and Kazakhstan in Central Asia.
