Cell Membrane Transport Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-5871
Jlab Export is a leading Cell Membrane Transport Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Cell Membrane Transport Model (code EL-BE-5871) is a biology teaching model on how substances move into and out of a cell across its plasma membrane. It supports lessons that compare passive movement down a concentration gradient with energy-using active transport, in class 11 biology, college cell biology and physiology. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Membrane Transport Model Used For?
Membrane transport is usually taught in three groups. In passive transport no cell energy is used: small non-polar molecules such as oxygen and carbon dioxide diffuse straight through the lipid bilayer, while ions and sugars cross by facilitated diffusion through channel or carrier proteins, and water moves by osmosis. Active transport moves substances against their gradient using energy from ATP, as the sodium–potassium pump does. Large particles enter or leave in vesicles by endocytosis and exocytosis.
A model lets students see that these routes share one membrane and differ in the protein or energy involved. It is useful before osmosis experiments with potato strips or dialysis tubing, and when the class 11 syllabus introduces uniport, symport and antiport carriers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which transport mechanisms are shown on the model?
The listing does not specify them, nor the labels, size or material. Ask JLab to describe the model and send a photograph with your quotation, so you can check it covers the mechanisms in your course.
Should I order it with the Cell Membrane Model?
Many teachers use a structure model first and a transport model next. JLab lists both separately; ask for them on one quotation if you want the pair.
OEM Manufacturer
Behind the JLab name is Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a biology and science lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 with its base on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab makes this transport model in its own works and sells it without a middleman, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers get factory-direct supply and a single point of contact for repeat orders. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Canada in North America, Australia in Oceania, Iceland in Northern Europe, Panama in Central America and the Caribbean, and Armenia in Eastern Europe. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
