Closed Circuit Jet on Vane Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-HLE-8989
Jlab Export is a leading Closed Circuit Jet on Vane Apparatus Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Closed Circuit Jet on Vane Apparatus (code EL-HLE-8989) is a fluid mechanics apparatus for studying the force a jet of water exerts when it strikes a vane, with the water kept in a closed circuit and used again rather than run to drain. JLab makes this jet-on-vane apparatus in Ambala, India.

The Momentum Principle Behind Jet Impact
When a jet strikes a vane, the vane changes the direction of the water, and the force on the vane equals the rate of change of momentum of the jet. For a stationary vane and a jet of area a and velocity V, the force along the jet is F = ρaV²(1 − cos β), where β is the angle through which the vane turns the water. A flat plate square to the jet turns it through a right angle and receives ρaV², while a cup that turns the jet right back on itself approaches twice that value.
Other Jet Impact Apparatus
- Impact of Jet on Vanes — flat plate or cup target on a spring-loaded stem with weight pan.
- Impact of Jet on Vanes Apparatus — brass flat plate and hemispherical cup in a two-sided clear chamber.
More fluid mechanics benches are in Hydrology Lab Equipments, part of Mechanical Engineering Lab Equipment.
