Reading the Socket Pairs
Each version is named by its capacity and two socket sizes: the first belongs to the centre neck, the second to both side necks. Every size from 1000 ml upward can be had with a B34 centre neck, and only the 1000 ml flask offers a B45 centre. Side sockets run from B14 to B24, so they can be matched to the cones of adapters and other jointed glassware already in use.
Parallel or Angled Side Necks
Here the side necks stand upright beside the centre neck, so whatever is fitted to the three necks points straight up. The angled version tilts its side necks outward, goes up to 3000 ml and takes side sockets of B14 or B19 only. The parallel form is the one to choose when a B24 side socket or a 5000 ml flask is needed.
