What Is the Mucormycosis Foot Model Used For?
Mucormycosis is an invasive infection caused by moulds of the order Mucorales, such as Mucor and Rhizopus — relatives of the pin mould students see on damp bread. The fungus grows into blood vessels and cuts off their supply, so the infected tissue dies and turns black. In the skin and soft tissue it usually begins when soil or plant matter contaminates a wound, burn or injury, and people with poorly controlled diabetes or weakened immunity are most at risk. A foot model gives lecturers a fixed example for explaining tissue death and the route of infection, and links school lessons on fungi with human health. It is a teaching aid only, not a diagnostic device.

OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of biology and microbiology teaching models, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. It produces this model in its own works rather than buying it from a trader, so medical colleges, schools, dealers and importers buy direct and each unit is visually inspected before dispatch. The company is registered under CIN U29309HR2017PTC069123 and holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 as a manufacturing enterprise. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Sri Lanka in South Asia, South Africa in Southern Africa, Slovenia in Southern Europe, Mexico in North America and Taiwan in East Asia.
