Power Output Meter Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-TAMI-1008
Jlab Export is a leading Power Output Meter Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Power Output Meter (code EL-TAMI-1008) is an instrument that measures power directly across a load, with a built-in variable load chosen by a band switch from 4 to 5000 ohms and an analogue meter reading 0–10 watts in two ranges. It is used in electronics labs to measure the output power of amplifiers and other sources. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Power Output Meter Used For?
The meter replaces the real load — a loudspeaker, a line input or another circuit — with a known resistance, so the power delivered by the source can be read directly instead of being calculated from voltage and current (P = V²/R). The low settings of 4, 8 and 16 ohms match common loudspeaker impedances, and 600 ohms is the usual impedance of audio lines. In B.Sc. electronics, polytechnic, engineering and ITI electronics labs it is used to measure the output power of audio amplifiers, to compare amplifier designs, and to verify the maximum power transfer theorem by switching through the load values and noting where the power peaks. Start on the 1–10 W range when the output level is unknown, then switch down to 0–1 W for small signals, and keep the measured power within the 10 W full scale.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Load and range needs — check that your sources fall within the load values and the 10 W full scale above.
- Mains supply — the meter works on 220 V, 50 Hz; state your local supply.
- Quantity and companion instruments — the minimum order is 10 units; add an A.F. oscillator or distortion factor meter for a complete amplifier test bench.
Frequently Asked Questions
What load values can be selected?
Seven: 4, 8, 16, 32, 250, 600 and 5000 ohms, chosen with a band switch.
How does it help with the maximum power transfer experiment?
Connect the source, step through the load values and record the power at each one. The power is greatest when the load resistance equals the internal resistance of the source, which students can see directly on the meter.
Who manufactures this power output meter?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, makes it at its Ambala works in Haryana, India, and quotes for it directly.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronic lab instruments manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This meter is built at JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so colleges, institutes, dealers and importers buy factory-direct, and repeat orders are handled by the maker. The company is registered under CIN U29309HR2017PTC069123 and holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 as a manufacturing enterprise. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Japan in East Asia, Cambodia in Southeast Asia, Germany in Western Europe, the USA in North America and Lebanon in the Middle East. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
