What Is the Solar Energy Trainer Used For?
A PV module turns light into DC electricity, and its output changes with the light level, the angle at which the light arrives and the module temperature. On this trainer the dimmer panel sets the lamp intensity and the AC and DC meter panels give the electrical readings, so the effect of each change can be measured.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the PV module frame tilt?
A module produces most when light meets it face-on. Locking the frame at different angles between 0 and 90 degrees shows how the angle of incidence changes the output.
What is the PT100 sensor for?
A PT100 is a platinum resistance temperature sensor whose resistance is 100 ohms at 0 °C and rises with temperature. Here it senses temperature, which matters because PV output falls as the cells get hotter; the fan provides cooling.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of trainers, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms (such as FOB or CIF) and any tender reference.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of engineering lab equipment incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The trainer is produced in JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers order direct from the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example the Maldives in South Asia, Vanuatu in Oceania, the UAE in the Middle East, Slovakia in Eastern Europe and Lesotho in Southern Africa. See the JLab lab tenders page for tender purchases.
