Control Valve Characteristics Trainer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-FOT-10253
Jlab Export is a leading Control Valve Characteristics Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Control Valve Characteristics Trainer (code EL-FOT-10253) is a trainer for comparing linear, equal-percentage and quick-opening control valves on a pumped water circuit, so that students can see how the shape of a valve’s characteristic changes the flow it passes as it opens. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Control Valve Characteristics Trainer Used For?
A control valve’s inherent characteristic is the relationship between how far it opens and how much it lets through at a steady pressure drop. On a linear valve the flow rises in proportion to the travel; on an equal-percentage valve each equal step of travel changes the flow by the same percentage of its current value, so the change is small near closed and large near fully open; a quick-opening valve passes most of its flow early in its travel. Recording the rotameter flow against the air signal for each valve, with the inlet pressure watched on the graduated tube, gives the three curves for comparison.
The positioner on the linear valve moves the stem to the position the air signal calls for, which reduces the effect of friction in the actuator and packing.
What to Specify When Ordering
- The number of trainers required.
- Any process control trainers, such as the flow or pressure models, to be quoted together.
- The delivery destination and preferred delivery terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to each valve if the air supply fails?
The linear and quick-opening valves are air to open, so they close; the equal-percentage valve is air to close, so it opens. Comparing them shows the two fail-safe actions used in plants.
How are flow and inlet pressure read?
Flow is read on a 0–200 LPH rotameter, and the pressure at the control valve inlet on a tube with a graduated scale.
What details help with an export quotation?
Tell us the quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling requirements and a tender reference if there is one.
Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, which builds engineering lab equipment in India; it was incorporated in 2017 and is based in Ambala, Haryana, on Hargolal Road. This valve trainer is made in JLab’s own works rather than bought in, so engineering colleges, institutes, dealers and importers order it directly from the maker and come back to the same company for repeat orders and spares. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region; examples include Guatemala in Central America and the Caribbean, Croatia in Southern Europe, Angola in Central Africa, Samoa in Oceania and Romania in Eastern Europe. Details for tender buyers are on the JLab lab tenders page.
