Advanced Fibre Optic Digital Transceiver Trainer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-FOT-1539
Jlab Export is a leading Advanced Fibre Optic Digital Transceiver Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Advanced Fibre Optic Digital Transceiver Trainer (code EL-FOT-1539) is a board trainer for digital transmission over optical fibre that adds line coding to the basic link experiments. Besides designing a fibre-optic digital link and studying its pulse distortion and propagation delay, students encode and decode data in five line-coding formats. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with the Simplex Digital Trainer?
| Model | Experiments | Signal and coding parts | Potentiometers |
|---|---|---|---|
| This advanced digital trainer (EL-FOT-1539) | Link design, pulse distortion, propagation delay and five encoding methods | Encoder and decoder ICs, two crystals, two reset switches | Two: receiver input and threshold resistance |
| Fibre-Optic Simplex Digital Transceiver Trainer | Link design, rise-time and fall-time distortions, propagation delay | Timer IC square-wave frequency generator | Three: threshold resistance, input resistance and frequency |
Both boards carry a digital transmitter, a digital receiver and two isolated regulated supplies. Choose this advanced model when the course also covers how data is coded for transmission; the simplex trainer’s experiments concentrate on the link’s timing behaviour.
What Is the Advanced Digital Transceiver Trainer Used For?
A fibre link carries data as light pulses, and the way ones and zeros are turned into pulses — the line code — affects how reliably the receiver can read them. In NRZ the level stays the same for the whole bit; RZ returns to zero within each bit; NRZI marks the data by whether the level changes; biphase and Manchester codes place at least one transition in every bit period, which lets the receiver keep its timing locked to the data even during long runs of identical bits. On this trainer students study each code on the fibre link, observing the waveforms at the panel sockets, alongside the rise-time, fall-time and delay measurements. Line coding is part of digital communication courses, so the board fits engineering, polytechnic and university electronics labs.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Number of trainers needed for the lab.
- Whether the simplex digital or the analogue fibre optic trainer should be quoted alongside it.
- Delivery destination and any tender reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the two reset switches for?
One resets the encoder and the other resets the decoder, so each side of a coding experiment can be restarted independently.
Why is Manchester coding used on optical links?
Every Manchester bit contains a mid-bit transition, so the receiver can recover the clock from the data itself and the average light level stays constant whatever the data pattern. The trainer lets students see this next to NRZ, where long strings of ones or zeros give no transitions at all.
Does the trainer need an oscilloscope?
Yes, a 20 MHz cathode ray oscilloscope, which is a separate item. JLab’s Cathode Ray Oscilloscope can be added to the same quotation.
What should an export enquiry include?
The quantity, destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling instructions, and the tender reference where there is one.
Who manufactures the trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds it at its own works in Ambala, Haryana, India, and supplies it directly.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics trainer and laboratory equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Each trainer is made at JLab’s works, not bought from a trader: colleges, training institutes, dealers and importers buy direct from the factory, every board is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the people who build it. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region, with Liberia in West Africa, Malaysia in Southeast Asia, Portugal in Southern Europe, Libya in North Africa and Japan in East Asia as examples. Tender enquiries can start from the JLab lab tenders page.
