Pipe Friction Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-FOT-10280
Jlab Export is a leading Pipe Friction Apparatus Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Pipe Friction Apparatus (code EL-FOT-10280) is a fluid mechanics test set for measuring the head loss that friction causes as water flows along a pipe. Its three pipes are connected in a common manifold on a supporting stand. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Pipe Friction Apparatus Used For?
Water flowing through a pipe loses pressure head through friction with the pipe wall, and the loss grows as the flow velocity rises. Measuring that loss between two tappings, together with the discharge, allows the Darcy friction factor to be calculated.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the 1 m tapping distance give?
A known pipe length. The manometer reads the friction head loss over that 1 m, the length used with the flow velocity and pipe bore in the Darcy–Weisbach equation.
Why does the differential manometer use mercury?
Mercury is much denser than water, so a 300 mm manometer column can register a larger pressure difference than a water column of the same length.
What should an export enquiry include?
The quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF) and any tender reference.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an engineering lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The apparatus is built at JLab’s own works, not bought in from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers order direct from the maker. The company holds GSTIN 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and Legal Entity Identifier 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Bhutan in South Asia, Mexico in North America, Madagascar in East Africa, Turkey in the Middle East and the Czech Republic in Eastern Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
