Critical Heat Flux Pool Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-DSO-10355
Jlab Export is a leading Critical Heat Flux Pool Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Critical Heat Flux Pool (code EL-DSO-10355) is a heat transfer experiment for observing pool boiling of a saturated liquid on the surface of a submerged hot wire, from nucleate boiling through the transition regime to film boiling. Students note the rate of boiling, record how the wire temperature changes with time and build the boiling curve. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Critical Heat Flux Pool Used For?
As the heat flux from a surface into a boiling liquid rises, bubbles first form at separate sites (nucleate boiling) and carry heat away very effectively. Beyond a peak — the critical heat flux — a vapour blanket starts to cover the surface, heat transfer becomes much less efficient and the surface temperature climbs, through transition boiling to stable film boiling. Watching these regimes on a hot wire, and plotting heat flux against wall superheat, turns the boiling curve of heat transfer textbooks into an observed result for mechanical and chemical engineering students.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is critical heat flux?
It is the thermal limit at which a phase change during heating suddenly reduces the efficiency of heat transfer, so the heated surface can overheat.
Why does it matter in engineering design?
Understanding critical heat flux is important for the safe and economic design of many heat transfer units, including nuclear reactors, fossil fuel boilers, fusion reactors and electronic chips.
What should an export enquiry include?
The quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF) and any tender reference.
Who manufactures it?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, and quotes directly as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of heat transfer and engineering lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The set-up comes from JLab’s own works rather than a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers deal with the maker, and each unit is visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Romania in Eastern Europe, Serbia in Southern Europe, Honduras in Central America and the Caribbean, Brazil in South America and France in Western Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
