How Does It Compare with Other JLab Op Amp Trainers?
| Model | Op amp circuits | DC supplies | Other details |
|---|---|---|---|
| This trainer (EL-DSO-10333) | Inverting, non-inverting, summing and difference amplifiers | Two variable 0–5 V and a fixed +12 V, regulated | Resistances and capacitors provided; aluminium front panel |
| Operational Amplifier as Inverting and Non Inverting Amplifier | Inverting and non-inverting amplifiers | ±15 V DC | Resistances connected externally for each observation |
| Study Operational Amplifier as Adder, Subtractor, Integrator and Differentiator | Adder, subtractor, integrator and differentiator | Two 0–5 V regulated and ±15 V DC | Two dual-range round meters for input and output voltages |
Choose this trainer when a practical covers the four basic linear amplifier circuits and you want two variable 0–5 V supplies and a +12 V supply in one compact cabinet; the table shows which circuits and supplies the other two trainers have.
What Is the Operational Amplifier Trainer Used For?
An op amp with negative feedback has a gain set almost entirely by its resistors. As an inverting amplifier the output is the input multiplied by −Rf/Rin; as a non-inverting amplifier the gain is one plus Rf/Rin, with no phase reversal; the summing amplifier adds two or more weighted inputs; and the difference amplifier amplifies only the difference between two inputs. Students apply DC input voltages, measure the output and compare it with the value the resistor ratio predicts, in analog electronics and linear integrated circuit practicals for diploma, B.Sc. electronics and engineering courses.
Frequently Asked Questions
What power supplies are built in?
Two variable DC regulated supplies of 0–5 V and one fixed +12 V DC regulated supply, all inside the cabinet.
What accessories come with it?
A power cord, patch cords and an instruction manual.
How does it differ from the Operational Amplifier as Inverting and Non Inverting Amplifier trainer?
That trainer covers the inverting and non-inverting circuits with a ±15 V DC supply and externally connected resistances. This one adds the summing and difference amplifiers and has its own 0–5 V and +12 V supplies, with resistances and capacitors provided.
How big is it and what mains supply does it need?
It measures 300 x 175 x 75 mm, weighs about 1.0 kg and runs on 230 V AC ±10% at 50 Hz.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of trainers, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you want (for example FOB or CIF), packing or labelling needs, and any tender reference.
Who manufactures the Operational Amplifier Trainer?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, and supplies it direct as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics trainer and lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Each op amp trainer is made in JLab’s own works, not resold from a trading house, so polytechnics, colleges, dealers and importers order from the source. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Croatia in Southern Europe, Benin in West Africa, Iceland in Northern Europe, El Salvador in Central America and the Caribbean, and Hong Kong in East Asia. For tenders, see the JLab lab tenders page.
