LAN Trainer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-CT-1512
Jlab Export is a leading LAN Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
LAN Trainer (code EL-CT-1512) is a networking trainer for the study of local area networks (LANs), built around an on-board 10 Mbps hub and three on-board Ethernet cabling set-ups. Parallel-port and serial-port direct cable connections are set up on the same board, so several ways of linking computers can be compared in one lab session. JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, manufactures it in Ambala, India.

What Is the LAN Trainer Used For?
It gives students of computer networking and communication courses at polytechnics, ITIs and engineering colleges hands-on practice with the physical side of a local area network: making up cables, connecting computers through a hub, and linking two machines directly through their parallel or serial ports. A hub works as a multiport repeater, sending whatever arrives on one port out of all the others, and because the circuitry of the on-board hub is exposed the instructor can show that process on real hardware. The four manuals take the class from hardware and cabling through software configuration and protocols.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of LAN trainers for the lab.
- Other communication trainers — the Transmission Line Trainer and the other items linked below are separate products that can be added to the same enquiry.
- Delivery details — the destination country, the port or city, and the delivery terms you prefer, for example FOB or CIF.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a hub and a switch?
A hub repeats every incoming frame to all of its ports, so the connected stations share the bandwidth and see one another’s traffic. A switch learns which device sits on which port and forwards each frame only where it needs to go. Hubs make the shared-medium behaviour of early Ethernet easy to demonstrate.
At what speed does the network run?
Links made through the 10 Mbps hubs run at 10 Mbps, because an Ethernet link settles at a speed that both ends support. The Ethernet cards themselves are rated 10/100 Mbps.
What is the cable fabrication kit for?
It lets students make up real network cables themselves rather than relying only on ready-made leads.
What is a direct cable connection?
It links two computers through their parallel or serial ports with a single cable, without network cards or a hub. The board has one set-up for each type of port.
Why are there two hubs?
Besides the hub on the board, a separate hub is provided so that students can practise multi-hub networking, joining hubs to extend a LAN beyond the ports of a single hub.
Who manufactures the LAN Trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, which trades as JLab, makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India and supplies it directly as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of electronics, communication and computer-networking trainers among its laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The LAN Trainer is assembled in JLab’s own works rather than bought in from a trader, so institutes, dealers and importers buy it straight from the factory and return to the same maker for repeat orders and spares. The company’s registration number is CIN U29309HR2017PTC069123, and it holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 as a manufacturing enterprise. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Hong Kong in East Asia, Guatemala in Central America and the Caribbean, Malaysia in Southeast Asia, Bahrain in the Middle East and Hungary in Eastern Europe. Tender buyers will find details on the JLab lab tenders page.
