Study of Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-TKFCL-1199
Jlab Export is a leading Study of Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Study of Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation (code EL-TKFCL-1199) is a panel trainer on which students measure the modulation index, the upper and lower sideband frequencies and the frequency of the demodulated signal in an AM system. A DC regulated power supply and a 100 Hz to 1 kHz sine wave oscillator are built in, with the circuit diagram drawn on the panel. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) makes it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the AM Modulation and Demodulation Trainer Used For?
In amplitude modulation the amplitude of a high-frequency carrier is varied in step with a lower-frequency message signal. This trainer lets B.Sc. physics and electronics students, engineering and polytechnic communication labs and ITI electronics courses see that process on a single board: the built-in oscillator supplies the message tone, the modulated wave is viewed on an oscilloscope, and the demodulator recovers the tone so its frequency can be checked against the oscillator setting. Because the circuit diagram is drawn on the panel and every supply and component is taken to a terminal, students can trace the signal path and connect test leads without opening the unit.
The modulation index is read from the envelope as m = (Vmax − Vmin) ÷ (Vmax + Vmin); multiplied by 100 it gives the percentage modulation, and a value above 1 means overmodulation and a distorted envelope. The two sidebands lie at the carrier frequency plus and minus the modulating frequency, so sweeping the oscillator across its 100 Hz to 1 kHz range shows the sidebands moving closer to or further from the carrier.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 trainers.
- Mains supply — state your mains voltage and plug type, as the input rating is not given in this listing.
- Oscilloscope and leads — an oscilloscope is needed to view the envelope; add one, with patch cords, to the same enquiry if your lab does not have them.
- Companion panels — order the FM and pulse modulation panels from the same range together if you are equipping a full communication lab.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can students measure with this AM trainer?
Three things are listed: the amplitude modulation index (depth of modulation), the upper and lower sideband frequencies, and the frequency of the demodulated signal.
What modulating frequencies does it provide?
The built-in sine wave oscillator covers 100 Hz to 1 kHz. The carrier frequency is not stated in this listing, so ask JLab for it if your practical sheet needs the value.
Is an oscilloscope included?
No, it is not part of this listing. You need an oscilloscope to view the modulated envelope and measure Vmax and Vmin; JLab lists a dual trace oscilloscope separately, linked below.
What is the minimum order and dispatch time?
Ten units is the minimum, each sold individually. Orders usually leave within 7–10 working days after every trainer is visually inspected; export transit time is extra and depends on the destination.
Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, builds it at its Ambala works in Haryana and quotes for it as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
Behind the JLab name is Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of physics, electronics and communication lab equipment, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The AM trainer is produced in JLab’s own works, not sourced from a trader, which lets universities, colleges, training institutes, dealers and importers buy direct from the factory, with each panel visually checked before dispatch and repeat orders and spares handled by the same team. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example the USA in North America, Ukraine in Eastern Europe, Argentina in South America, Kenya in East Africa and Morocco in North Africa. For tender purchases see the JLab lab tenders page.
