Bridge Oscillator Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-SI-8081
Jlab Export is a leading Bridge Oscillator Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Bridge Oscillator (code EL-SI-8081) is a fixed-frequency AC signal source for four-arm bridge experiments in college physics and electrical labs. Built as an operational-amplifier Wien bridge oscillator for better stability, it gives a pure sine wave at a fixed 1 kHz, with the output continuously variable from 0 to 10 V RMS. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with the JLab A.F. Oscillator?
| Model | Frequency | Waveform | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| This bridge oscillator (EL-SI-8081) | Fixed 1 kHz | Pure sine | 0–10 V RMS, continuously variable |
| A.F. Oscillator Bridge Experiments | 1 Hz to 250 kHz in 6 steps | Sine, square and triangular | 0 to 10 V, coarse and fine controls |
Choose this oscillator when every bridge on the bench runs at 1 kHz and students only need to set the amplitude. The A.F. oscillator suits labs that also need other frequencies or waveforms from the same source.
What Is the Bridge Oscillator Used For?
AC bridges such as the De Sauty, Wien, Anderson, Maxwell and Schering bridges need a steady sine-wave supply, and this oscillator is the source for bridge boards that do not have one built in. In a Wien bridge oscillator a resistor–capacitor network in the feedback path of the amplifier sets the frequency, which gives a clean, low-distortion sine wave. Because 1 kHz lies in the audio range, the bridge null can be found with a headphone as well as with an electronic detector or an oscilloscope. Connect the output to the source terminals of the bridge, start with the amplitude turned low and raise it only until the detector responds clearly.
Frequently Asked Questions
What frequency and output does it give?
A pure sine wave at a fixed 1 kHz, with the output continuously variable from 0 to 10 V RMS. The frequency itself is not adjustable.
Which bridges can it drive?
The listing says it is used in almost all four-arm bridges. JLab’s DE Sauty Bridge, for example, lists a bridge oscillator among the other apparatus it needs, and the Frequency Wien Bridge is designed to find the frequency of a bridge oscillator.
Why is it built as an op-amp Wien bridge oscillator?
The listing gives better stability as the reason. A Wien bridge circuit around an operational amplifier is a standard way to produce a clean sine wave at a single frequency set by its resistor–capacitor network.
Who manufactures it?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes the bridge oscillator at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a physics and electronic lab instruments manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The oscillator comes from JLab’s own works, not from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers order direct from the maker, each unit is visually inspected before packing, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Sri Lanka in South Asia, Malaysia in Southeast Asia, Lithuania in Northern Europe, Romania in Eastern Europe and Mexico in North America. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
Bridges and Detectors to Use with It
- Frequency Wien Bridge — designed to find the unknown frequency of a bridge oscillator.
- DE Sauty Bridge — compares the capacitance of two capacitors and lists a bridge oscillator as required apparatus.
- Head Phone — flexible headphones with high-resistance receivers, for finding the null by ear.
- Oscilloscope — to view the sine wave and the bridge output.
- Wien Bridge Oscillator using Operational Amplifier IC 741 — a trainer for studying the frequency and wave shape of a Wien oscillator.
